Determining what information patients and medical experts need, and how to make the information available to ensure proper drug use, is an essential issue. We will discuss various medical communication tools created by the pharmaceutical industry to encourage appropriate drug use (i.e., for medical experts, package inserts, interview forms, and guides for appropriate use; for patients, drug guides, and drug information sheets).
