Session Chair(s)
Michiel Stam
Management Consultant
MAIN5 Gmbh & Co. Kgaa, Germany
In this session the presenters will share their vision and experiences of implementing global next-generation RIM solutions. Installing a RIM solution may be near ready for use, in theory, especially when cloud-based and pre-configured. However, the effort required by the Company to gain knowledge about the software and make significant adaptions to align with business processes and roles and responsibilities is significant, especially when implementing on a global scale. The presenters will share lessons learned and practical challenges the team experienced. The presentation will highlight the importance of realistic project scoping, planning and organization (including managing expectations), configuration, data migration and remediation, business process implementation and change management. These experiences and lessons learned are valuable for anyone who is about to/currently experience a similar update.
Learning Objective : At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
- Adopt best practices and lessons learned for successful RIM implementation
- Recognize the challenges of RIM project management
- Define the activities and efforts required for a global roll-out of a next-generation RIM solution
