This session from the Medicines Healthcare and products Regulatory Agency will provide an update on recent developments and key areas of focus and initiatives for the upcoming year. Discussion will focus on new approaches for the assessment of clinical trials including the recently introduced notification scheme, new mechanisms to support the development of innovative medicines and health tech products, update on international recognition procedures and other licensing approaches, the launch and implementation of our Science Strategy, emerging themes in a developing Data Strategy which will include approaches to evidence generation, technological enablers and drivers, and analytical methodologies as well as the launch of a programme for Centres for Regulatory Science and Innovation. We continue to develop our strategic national and international partnerships to support the delivery of these ambitions.
