Virtual Meeting Security
DIA takes cybersecurity very seriously, and we are committed to protecting your privacy. We are taking advantage of the latest technologies for our online digital platforms and implementing all recommended security protocols.
For our live virtual meetings and events, we have implemented strict user security measures including the following actions:
For the virtual meeting Host, security capabilities include:
- Advanced Meeting encryption
- Meeting password protection
- Meeting Waiting Rooms
- Disabling ‘Join before Host’
- Ability to expel any or all participants without rejoin ability
- End meeting control
- Lock a meeting control
- Disable participant screen sharing
- Disable file sharing
- Disable anonymous Chat functions for all participants
- Disable participant record functions
- Moderated Q&A
- Mute/unmute a participant or all participants
- Audio signatures
For virtual meeting participants, security capabilities include:
- Mute/unmute audio
- Turn on/off video
- Blur snapshot on iOS task switcher
For all large virtual meetings, DIA will only use a webinar product that prevents attendees from speaking or sharing content, and these meetings are always password protected. DIA will never post a link to an open meeting or event on any social media platform.
