The 2022 Latin America Regulatory Conference (LARC) will be held virtually over three days, March 14-16. Each day will follow a common theme connecting all the sessions.
Improving access to safe, effective, quality medicines and other health technologies is a critical public health priority, and regulatory activities play a fundamental role in this context. The first day of the Latin America Regulatory Conference (LARC) is an introduction to the current regulatory landscape of Latin America and the Caribbean from the perspective of regulators, as well as a discussion of key crosscutting concepts and practices that can promote stronger regulatory systems, with the participation of regional and international experts.
Day 2 of LARC will expand on current regulatory trends, with regional and international experts invited to discuss specific opportunities for evidence-based regulatory activity and potential solutions to some of the regulatory issues that emerging markets are already facing–some of them as a result of the reflections brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The final day of LARC will focus on much-needed discussions to enable health systems to embrace innovation and further prepare regulatory authorities to meet the specific challenges of growing complexities in the products and processes they regulate. It will also be an opportunity for the regulators of regional reference to present some of their best practices and debate their role in supporting regulatory progress in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Upon completion of registration, participants will gain access to the following:
