DIA Opens Giving Season Initiative to Support Innovation in Life Sciences
Program will enhance opportunities to strengthen global healthcare collaboration
DIA, a global non-profit organization of life sciences professionals, has launched its first giving season initiative that will help support continued developments in drugs, devices, and diagnostics in pursuit of a healthier world.
The organization, which is in its 60th year of driving scientific innovation and collaboration, will direct this support to strengthen programs that connect regulators, policymakers, patients, and researchers across the healthcare ecosystem.
"DIA has always brought people together to solve complex challenges in healthcare," said Marwan Fathallah, DIA's President and Chief Executive Officer. "The more we work together, the better our work will be. By supporting DIA, our members can help us create more opportunities for collaboration and innovation that benefit the entire life sciences community and directly impact the lives of patients."
These charitable donations will strengthen DIA as it:
• Advances emerging technologies for safer, more accessible healthcare solutions
• Accelerates patient-centered therapy development
• Facilitates knowledge-sharing among industry stakeholders, regulators, and researchers
This initiative provides DIA members worldwide an opportunity to invest in an organization that has fostered their professional growth and network development.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in Maryland, contributions to DIA are tax-deductible within the United States and may qualify for tax benefits in other countries.
