Richard Siggers

Richard Siggers received his PhD from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, before accepting a position as an Assistant Professor of Research at the University of Pittsburgh in the Pediatric Department of the Children’s Hospital. In 2011, Richard joined Health Canada’s Vaccine Quality Divisions as a regulatory scientific evaluator. Within this role, Richard leads the pre- and post market quality evaluation of vaccine submissions, and is involved in the supervision of Vaccine Lot Release labs. More recently, Richard has participated as a Certified Global Evaluator associated with the WHO Global Benchmarking Tool (GBT) for evaluation of national regulatory systems.
