Cheng Leng Chan

Associate Professor Chan Cheng Leng is the Group Director, Health Products Regulation Group, Health Sciences Authority (HSA), Singapore. She has extensive and deep work experience in the area of health products regulation and safety monitoring. She plays a leading role in developing and implementing national policies and directing the operations with the objective of safeguarding and advancing public health. Under her leadership, HSA became the first National Regulatory Authority in the world in January 2022 to achieve Maturity Level 4 for medicines regulation, the highest level of attainment of regulatory excellence conferred by the World Health Organization for operating at an advanced level of performance and continuous improvement.
