Start-up Representatives
DIA considers a company start-up if the business meets the following criteria:
- The company is:
- Younger than 8 years and has 40 employees or less employees
- Private, owned by the founder and not traded publicly. This does not consider consultancies or agencies.

SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises)
Criteria and Steps to Apply:
Available to professionals from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which are registered as SME. To benefit from the discounted rate the company needs to be listed on the EMA SME site or alternatively we require a SME registration confirmation document with the validity date included.

Young Professionals
Criteria and Steps to Apply:
Available to professionals in health product development, regulation and related fields for no longer than five years and aged less than 32.

Students
Criteria and Steps to Apply:
Undergraduate, graduate or PhD students (aged less than 32) who can demonstrate that they are enrolled in a full-time degree or certificate granting, academic programme in a recognised academic institution, or individuals currently conducting a full-time internship at the time of registration and start of the meeting.

Patients and Patient Advocates

Group Rates
Register ten individuals from the same company, and receive complimentary registration for an eleventh! All ten individuals must register and prepay at the same time – no exceptions. DIA will apply the value of the lowest applicable fee to this complimentary registration; it does NOT include fees for optional events or DIA membership.
You may substitute group participants of the same membership status at any time; however, administrative fees may be incurred.
Group registration is not available online and does not apply to the already-discounted fees for government or charitable nonprofit/academia. To take advantage of this offer once the Early Bird has passed, please contact Basel@DIAglobal.org for details.
