What are the Health and Safety measures for DIA Europe?
DIA recognizes that COVID-19 is an evolving situation and will work closely with each venue and our suppliers to implement specific health and safety protocols appropriate to the public health circumstances existing at the time of the applicable event. More information here.

As such and reflecting this effort, DIA Europe is one of the few in-person DIA meetings in the EMEA region, making it the best opportunity to meet your peers, interact with other stakeholder representatives, discuss key topics and collaborate for healthcare innovation here.

Do you have a justification letter?
Download and complete our Justification Letter to show your supervisor why attending this event is essential and how it can be an integral part of your professional development plan.
Can I transfer my registration to a colleague?
Yes, if you can’t attend the meeting, you may transfer your registration to a colleague. Deadline for name change: 11 February 2025. In this case, please contact us at basel@diaglobal.org. After this date you will have access to the event app and changes can not be made anymore.
What is the attendee cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made in writing and be received at the DIA office in Basel four weeks prior to the event start date. Cancellations are subject to an administrative fee:
Industry (Member/Non-member) € 200.00 .
Academia/Charitable/Government/Non-profit (Full-time) (Member/Non-member) € 100.00
For cancellations after this date, or if the delegate fails to attend the meeting, no refund of fees will be given.

Travelling to and from Basel

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
If you follow a special diet or have food/beverage allergies, please let us know so we can make sure that we are accommodating your needs. The submitted information is going to be confidentially handled by DIA Staff and the dedicated caterer.

How do I access the event App?
The “My DIA” App is available (as of 18 February 2025) for all event participants (once the registration fee is paid – if applicable).
The app is available via the:
- App Store “My DIA”
- Google Play “My DIA”
Once you have the app you can access the “DIA Europe 2025” Event.
Where and when can I pick up my badge?
Where:
- Monday, 17 March 13:00-17:00
- Tuesday, 18 March 07:30-19:00
- Wednesday, 19 March 07:30-17:00
- Thursday, 20 March 08:00-16:30
- All networking breaks, during coffee and lunch breaks
- Networking Reception (18 March 2025 18:30-19:30)
- Schedule your 1:1 meetings via the DIA Europe event platform / My DIA App (Available: 18 February - 20 May 2025) AI-powered matchmaking functionality, will enable you to contact and schedule meetings with other attendees, speakers and exhibitors. Additionally, there is a Chat and Audio/Video call option available.

How can I claim my certificate?
Certificates will be available via the DIA Membership account as of Monday, 3 April 2025.
Will the sessions be recorded and available afterwards?
Most of the sessions (except: Poster Sessions, Innovation Hub Presentations) are going to be recorded and made available on the DIA Europe online event platform / My DIA App for registered participants. The platform is going to close on the 20 May 2025.
Does DIA Europe has an official travel agency?
Yes, DIA team works on the occasion of DIA Europe with Nayak Reisen AG. Several fraudulent websites impersonate DIA Meetings. Please pay close attention to possible scams and be sure not to share your personal details.
