Dr. Cynthia L. Verst, President of Design and Delivery Innovation for Research and Development Solutions at IQVIA, is responsible for accelerating growth through innovative solutions powered by rich data assets, advanced predictive analytics, integrated technology capabilities, and deep domain expertise to develop actionable insights for IQVIA clients and to drive better clinical research outcomes.

Dr. Verst has a proven track record of operational excellence and innovation amidst an increasingly complex healthcare environment. Before being appointed as President, Dr. Verst served as President of Clinical Operations; prior to that, she served as President of Real-World & Late Phase Research at Quintiles. Her other executive leadership positions include serving at OptumInsight (a division of United Healthcare) and at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals as Section Head in its North American Medical and Technical Affairs group, where she successfully led the phase 3b/4 research requirements of marketed products. In 2014, Dr. Verst was named one of the top women in biotech by FierceBiotech, an annual award that spotlights an elite list of 15 women leaders in the life sciences, academia, and regulatory roles. She also serves as the 2018 Vice Chairman of the Association of Clinical Research Organizations. Dr. Verst earned her PharmD and Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati, her MS in Structural and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois, and Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Northern Kentucky University.
